How RecStat Works

RecStat connects leagues, scorekeepers, referees, and players in a single verified system. Here's exactly how it works for each role.

For League Admins

Get your league on RecStat — verified records for every game, player stats that last forever.

  1. 1Sign up as League Admin and create your league on RecStat
  2. 2Wait for RecStat approval — usually same day
  3. 3Share the signup link (recstat.vercel.app/signup) with your refs and scorekeepers — they select your league when signing up
  4. 4Go to your League Dashboard and approve each pending referee and scorekeeper
  5. 5Your approved scorekeepers can now start scoring games live from any phone or tablet
  6. 6After each game, the assigned referee signs off in one tap — creating a permanent verified record
  7. 7Players sign up and claim their stats by entering their name — you approve each claim from the League Dashboard
  8. 8Every verified game is permanently recorded and shareable — your league builds credibility over time

For Scorekeepers

Track live scores and create official game records in minutes, from the sideline.

  1. 1Sign up as Scorekeeper and select your league
  2. 2Wait for your league admin to approve your account
  3. 3Click "New Game" to start scoring
  4. 4Enter team names, players, and the assigned referee
  5. 5Score live — every tap is recorded and timestamped
  6. 6Hit "End Game" and the referee gets notified to verify

For Referees

Sign off on games you officiate and build a permanent professional record.

  1. 1Sign up as Referee and select your league
  2. 2Wait for your league admin to approve your account
  3. 3Go to "Referee" to see games waiting for your sign-off
  4. 4Review the final score from the scorekeeper
  5. 5Click "Confirm and Verify" to make the result official
  6. 6Your verified games build your referee portfolio over time

Own your stats with a verified, shareable player profile — no self-reporting.

  1. 1Play in any RecStat-tracked league
  2. 2Ask your scorekeeper to enter your name at game setup
  3. 3After the game is verified by the referee, go to the Claim page
  4. 4Enter your name exactly as the scorekeeper entered it
  5. 5Submit your claim — your league admin reviews and approves it
  6. 6Share your verified profile with scouts, coaches, and teammates
